MIEO members are actively engaged in the promotion of energy optimisation and are primary suppliers of energy efficiency products and services to mining and industry.

MIEO members subscribe to a code of business practice which requires them to adhere to the promotion and supply of products and services which are in the best interests of the customer and with the genuine intent of achieving real energy and cost savings.

The aim of members is to provide the basis for sustained growth in the provision of energy efficiency products and services.

Under the business code members may not assume responsibilities which cannot be realistically fulfilled with respect to warranties of products or service performance. A member company’s products or services may not be misrepresented.

Two categories of membership exist in the MIEO: participating members and observer members.
